What I Do
I lead teams through uncertainty, build organizational trust, and identify and reduce risks to schedule and quality through continuous improvement practices. I enjoy serving as a liaison between technical groups, and I excel at translating technical issues to non-technical audiences.
I encourage my teammates to bring their full self to work by creating accepting spaces for them to do so. I get to the bottom of tricky issues by listening to the diverse perspectives and experiences of those around me with humility and openness.
I volunteer my time and energy to issues of food insecurity and multiculturalism. I speak English natively and understand basic French due to my Canadian upbringing. I am conversationally fluent in Japanese, having lived in rural Japan for two years.
